On Saturday, a man was stabbed after he started filming a brawl between his attacker and another man on East 13th Street.

It was around 1:30 a.m. when the fight broke out in front of 141 East 13th Street, west of Third Avenue, and the 41-year-old witness started filming it. That’s when one of the men decided to turn his attention to the victim by pulling out a knife and stabbing him in the torso.

The attacker fled the scene and the victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where police said he has since been treated and released.
