Police Watch: Man arrested for residential burglary, Incense vendor busted for assault

MAN ARRESTED FOR EAST 25TH ST. BURGLARY
Police arrested 55-year-old Daniel Rivera for burglary last Tuesday at 10:35 a.m. inside the 13th Precinct. Police said that Rivera entered the duplex apartment of 214 East 25th Street on the first floor through the back of the building through a window on May 29 and allegedly stole things from the home.

MEN BUSTED FOR SELLING ‘FAKE’ CONCERT TICKETS
Police arrested 37-year-old Arnold Conyers for hawking allegedly phony concert tickets in front of 15 Irving Place last Tuesday. Police said that at 6:05 p.m., a plainclothes officer saw Conyers selling the allegedly forged tickets to a concertgoer in front of the location. When he was searched, police said that he was in possession of 11 forged tickets, a gravity knife and mace. He’s been charged with weapons possession and forgery.
In a separate incident, 30-year-old Jamar Moore and 44-year-old Garland Reeves were arrested for allegedly pulling a similar act and possession of marijuana in front of 10 Union Square East last Saturday at 6:32 p.m. Police said that Moore attempted to sell fraudulent Tame Impala tickets for a sold-out concert in Prospect Park and he was allegedly in possession of the fraudulent tickets. Reeves was allegedly working with Moore to sell the fraudulent concert tickets. Both Moore and Reeves were in possession of alleged marijuana.

INCENSE VENDOR ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT
Police arrested 41-year-old Donel Milling for allegedly assaulting a female customer in front of 675 Sixth Avenue last Thursday at 8:44 p.m. The victim said that she was buying incense from Milling, who was in front of the location, when they got into an argument. The victim reported that Milling grabbed her and slammed her against a truck. She said that he then punched her on the side of her head and above her mouth, causing a cut on her lip. Milling allegedly fled north on Sixth Avenue and was seen selling incense at West 33rd Street and Sixth Avenue, where he was arrested.

MAN ARRESTED FOR HEROIN IN UNION SQUARE
Police arrested 48-year-old William Lowndes for possession of a controlled substance at the corner of Union Square East and East 15th Street last Thursday at 4:28 p.m. Police said that Lowndes was in possession of a controlled substance in a public place in public view. He was also allegedly in possession of five individual glassine envelopes of heroin that were in his wallet.
Lowndes was also charged for aggravated harassment at the precinct later the same day when police found that he had allegedly sent numerous unwanted emails and made numerous unwanted phone calls to a victim.

MAN ARRESTED FOR ‘COCAINE’ IN F/M STATION
Police arrested 48-year-old Timmy Thomas for possession of a controlled substance inside the subway station at Sixth Avenue and West 14th Street last Friday at 10:26 p.m. Police said that Thomas was in the mezzanine area of the station sniffing a white powder in public view. Thomas allegedly said that it was cocaine and that someone had given it to him on the train.

SCOFFLAW CYCLIST ARRESTED FOR STOLEN CREDIT CARD
Police arrested 56-year-old Charles Terry for possession of stolen property inside Union Square Park last Wednesday at 5:23 p.m. Police said that Terry was seen riding a bicycle through the south plaza of the park, disobeying park rules. When an officer asked him for identification, Terry was allegedly in possession of an American Express card with a different name on it.

‘DRUNK’ DRIVER ARRESTED ON FDR
Police arrested 34-year-old Jose Diaz for intoxicated driving on the FDR Drive last Thursday at 9:04 a.m. A highway patrol officer saw Diaz driving a commercial vehicle on the FDR. When he pulled Diaz over, he found that the suspect allegedly had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath as well as bloodshot, watery eyes. Police said that Diaz only had a New Jersey state ID card and was not properly licensed.

MAN ARRESTED FOR SELLING LOOSIES
Sixty-year-old Danny Glover was arrested for a tax law violation in front of 5 Union Square West last Tuesday at 4:04 p.m. Police said that Glover was selling loose cigarettes for cash.
