A thief with a penchant for stealing coolers will be cooling his heels in a jail cell for 45 days.

Paul Henderson, 46, was busted after a string of thefts from the Sixth Avenue location of Marshall’s. The thefts occurred in September, but police were finally able to arrest Henderson this past Friday for making off with 14 Yeti coolers in total over the course of the month. Henderson reportedly shoplifted from the store at 620 Sixth Avenue on September 9, 10, 11, 15, 18, 24 and 27. Police said that he took two of the coolers during each incident, as well as other items that police did not specify.

A loss prevention officer at the store told police that he saw Henderson take the coolers and other items during each incident, and leave the store without paying.

Yeti coolers retail from $200-$1,300 each on the company’s website. Meanwhile, cops couldn’t confirm if Henderson took the merchandise with the purpose of reselling it.

Henderson was charged with seven counts of petit larceny and seven counts of criminal possession of stolen property. He pleaded guilty to seven counts of petit larceny at arraignment last Saturday and received a 45-day jail sentence. Henderson is expected to be released on December 9. His lawyer did not respond to a request for comment.
